With a military background that spans over 7 years, Douglas Hollingworth brings a wealth of expertise to his role as a firearms instructor. He retired from his military service and decided to channel his passion for firearms into teaching others.

Douglas is a certified NRA Pistol Instructor, equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to educate students in the safe and responsible use of handguns. Additionally, he holds the distinction of being a certified NRA Range Safety Officer, ensuring that safety remains a top priority during training sessions. Douglas's dedication to his craft and his love for teaching make him an invaluable asset in the field of firearms instruction.

Personal Life

Douglas Hollingworth, a dedicated firearms instructor, is a family-oriented individual with a deep passion for teaching and a lifelong love for firearms. He is happily married to his wife, Elyse, and they share a strong bond that supports his endeavors. Douglas grew up in the scenic landscapes of southwest Minnesota, born in Tracy and later relocating to Pipestone at the age of 14. At 18, he embarked on his academic journey, attending the University of Minnesota.

When he's not instructing, Douglas indulges in his hobbies, including hunting, fishing, boating, golfing, and even home building and remodeling projects. His diverse interests and experiences contribute to his well-rounded perspective as a firearms instructor.
